History of Online Video

Very interesting post on socialnomics.net on the History of Online Video. Looking at who is watching and what they are watching. I really liked the comparison chart, see above, on the volume of traffic among different video services. As expected YouTube blows away the competition but there is plenty of viewing going on, on other sites too. Leading is Metacafe, and Imeem. I haven't ever heard of Imeem, so I need to check this out. This is one of the things that amazes me about the web. You think you know what is going on and then there is a site getting millions of views that you never heard of.
